Benji's Babies is a small but renowned hobby breeder of high-quality standard, tweenie, and miniature dachshund puppies in the Lake of the Ozarks and Kansas City regions of Missouri. I have been breeding dachshunds for over 17 years. My puppies are raised with love and care in a clean environment with disease prevention and health as my first priorities. I also ensure that my puppies are loved and socialized before they become part of your family.
About Me :
My name is Angie and I am the breeder behind Benji's Babies. Benji was the name of my very first stud when I entered the breeding business. My love for the dachshund breed is what inspired me to begin breeding dachshunds and to share my love for the breed with others. In my opinion, dachshunds make the very best companions. They are loyal and give love and affection unconditionally. They love to sit with me while on the back porch or while watching tv. I also like that they are very low maintenance, requiring very little grooming. Raising and providing happy and healthy dachshund puppies to my customers brings me great joy.
Upcoming litters
There are currently no available puppies. I hope to post two litters by the end of October. I expect smooth coat chocolate and tan, black and tan, piebald and dapple in one litter. In another litter, I expect long haired black and tan and dapple. Hopefully we will have some fall babies to post on here by late October!

This is Abby. Abby is a 3 1/2 year old 11lb miniature dachshund. She is a AKC registered and pedigreed smooth coat cream dapple piebald with beautiful blue eyes. She has a wonderful temperament. She is sweet, affectionate, quiet, obedient, and is a fantastic companion. She gets along great with other dogs. She is basically kennel trained but could have some accidents as she learns to live full time in a home. She is eager to please and will learn quickly. She is used to being let outside to potty into a fenced in yard and is not used to a leash. Because she is so beautiful, I was hoping that she could be a part of my breeding program, but she has not been successfully bred and I would rather get her into a good home where she could live her best life as someone's pet. She has never had a health issue and is up to date on vaccinations. She is on Frontline Plus for flea and tick prevention and Heartgard Plus for heartworm prevention. She is eating Diamond Naturals All Life Stages Chicken and Rice Formula dog food. She will come with her health record, AKC registration, pedigree, and a small ziplock bag of food. I will be choosy about her new home so, if you are interested in meeting Abby, be prepared to tell me about yourself and your home.
