Welcome to Benji's Babies!
Benji's Babies is a small but renowned hobby breeder of high-quality standard, tweenie, and miniature dachshund puppies in the Lake of the Ozarks and Kansas City regions of Missouri. I have been breeding dachshunds for over 17 years. My puppies are raised with love and care in a clean environment with disease prevention and health as my first priorities. I also ensure that my puppies are loved and socialized before they become part of your family.
About Me :
My name is Angie and I am the breeder behind Benji's Babies. Benji was the name of my very first stud when I entered the breeding business. My love for the dachshund breed is what inspired me to begin breeding dachshunds and to share my love for the breed with others. In my opinion, dachshunds make the very best companions. They are loyal and give love and affection unconditionally. They love to sit with me while on the back porch or while watching tv. I also like that they are very low maintenance, requiring very little grooming. Raising and providing happy and healthy dachshund puppies to my customers brings me great joy.

Each puppy will be completely de-wormed, micro-chipped, and will be up to date on vaccinations. Each puppy comes with a 72-hour health guarantee. Each puppy also comes with ACA (American Canine Association) registration. A $300 non-refundable deposit via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or cash in person, will hold a puppy until it is ready on 11/21/26. Puppies can be picked up at our home in Gravois Mills, MO on Saturday 11/21/26 or at a designated meeting spot in Kansas City at noon on Sunday 11/22/26. Customers are always welcome to come meet the puppy and its parents at our home in Gravois Mills prior to placing a deposit.
If you are interested in placing a puppy on hold, please call or text (816) 686-1443 and be prepared to tell me a little about yourself and the home that the puppy will be living in. (Puppies will not be sold to breeders unless they have been approved.)
Minnie and Dusty's Puppy
Minnie and Dusty have one available puppy. She is a long haired black and cream. Minnie (mom) is an 8 lb smooth black and cream with a quiet and calm temperament. Dusty (dad) is a 20 lb long haired shaded cream who is happy and playful. This puppy should have a great temperament. She is $2600. Below you will find photos of the puppy taken at 2 and 3 weeks followed by photos of mom and dad.
Sterling and Scooby's litter
Sterling and Scooby had 5 male puppies. They all appear to be smooth coat except for puppy #1 who I am unsure of his coat length. Sterling (mom) was a 12 lb smooth black and tan dapple who had a playful and adventurous temperament. She was the best athlete of the bunch and loved to play ball. She was always first to the ball. Unfortunately, Sterling had to be rushed to the emergency vet in Columbia for a c-section and she did not recover and had to be euthanized. The other mamas took her puppies in as if they were their own and they are thriving. Scooby (dad) is a 13 lb smooth chocolate and tan piebald with ticking who is gentle, calm, quiet, obedient, a bit shy, and loves to cuddle. These puppies should also have great temperaments. The puppies with the piebald pattern (white) may have ticking in the white portions of their coat.
Below you will find photos of the puppies taken at 2 and 3 weeks, followed by a photo of mom and dad.
1. Black and tan dapple piebald. He is the smallest in the litter. I am unsure of his coat length but he is most likely to be smooth coat like mom and dad. It is possible that he could have blue in his eyes. He is $2500. HE IS ON TEMPORARY HOLD FOR BILL AND LAURA FROM ARGENTA, IL
2. Black and cream dapple (with tuxedo piebald). Tuxedo piebald just means that the white pattern in his coat is just on his chest and feet. It is possible that he could have some blue in his eyes, but I am not currently seeing blue. He is $2500.
3. Chocolate and tan piebald. He will look more like dad. He is $2300.
4. Black and tan piebald. He is $2300.
5. Black and tan (with tuxedo piebald). He is $2100.
Harley and Dusty's Litter
Harley and Dusty had two beautiful long haired puppies. Harley also had to have a c-section because her puppies were very large and healthy. Harley is doing great but will no longer be in our breeding program but will be our forever pet. She (mom) is a 12 lb long haired black and tan dapple who is very chill and laid back. Her favorite thing (when she is not being held) is to lay in the sun and chew on a pork twist. Dusty (dad) is my 20 lb long haired shaded cream who is a happy go lucky guy. Their puppies should have awesome temperaments.
Puppy #1 is a female long haired shaded red. She should be gorgeous. She is $2600.
Puppy #2 is a male long haired black and cream. His coat will be thick and a little wavy like mom's. He is $2200. Below, you will find photos of the two puppies taken at 2 and 3 weeks, followed by photos of mom and dad.

We will definitely refer you to anyone else looking for doxies."
