Welcome to Benji's Babies! Benji's Babies is a small but renowned hobby breeder of high-quality standard, tweenie, and miniature dachshund puppies in Missouri. We have been breeding dachshunds for over 16 years. Our puppies are raised with love and care in a clean environment with disease prevention and health as our first priority. We also ensure that our puppies are loved and socialized before they become part of your family.

SCOOBY AND IZZY'S LONG HAIRED LITTER​​
Izzy and Scooby had a litter of Miniature Dachshund Puppies on 3/31/25. The puppies will be 8 weeks of age and ready to go to their new homes on Monday, 5/26/25 (Memorial Day). They can be picked up any time that day after 11:00 am at our home near Laurie, MO in the Lake of the Ozarks area or that evening after 7 pm at our home in Excelsior Springs, MO in the Kansas City area. All of the puppies in this litter are long haired. I expect them to be approximately 11 lbs. at maturity. I expect these puppies to have wonderful temperaments like their mom and dad. Mom and dad are sweet, affectionate, obedient, and they rarely bark. Mom and dad are available to meet at pick up of puppies.
Each puppy will be up to date on vaccinations and wormings and will be microchipped. Each puppy will come with a detailed health record and a written health guarantee. Each puppy will come with ACA (American Canine Association) registration. Each puppy will also go home with a small sample pack of high protein puppy food (Diamond Naturals Small and Medium Breed Puppy Food) to get started.
A $300 non-refundable deposit will hold the puppy of your choice until it is ready on 5/26. I accept cash, Venmo, and Paypal using the friends and family option for the deposit. The remaining amount will then be due in cash at pick up of the puppy. Puppies will only be sold to breeders if they have been approved by Benji's Babies.

SCOOBY AND STERLING'S SMOOTH COAT LITTER
Sterling and Scooby had a litter of smooth coat miniature dachshunds on 4/5/25. The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready for their new homes on Saturday, 5/31/25. They can be picked up any time after 11:00 am on Saturday 5/31 at our home near Laurie, MO in the Lake of the Ozarks area or they can be picked up after 7 pm the following day on Sunday 6/1 at our home in Excelsior Springs, MO in the Kansas City area.

I expect these puppies to be around 11 lbs. at maturity. Mom, Sterling, is playful, fun, adventurous, and a bit stubborn. She loves to play fetch and will keep playing as long as you are willing to throw the ball. She is athletic and makes sure to always be the first one to the ball and loves to dodge the others while bringing the ball back. Dad, Scooby, is a sweetheart. He is calm, quiet, obedient, and loves attention. Mom and Dad are available to meet at pick up of the puppies at the lake house.

(Tuxedo piebald means that there is white primarily on chest and tips of toes. Ticking refers to the spots that show up in the white portions similar to a blue tick coon hound. Isabella is a color that means dilute chocolate.)

CHIP AND NUGGETS CHOCOLATES
Chip and Nugget had a litter of Miniature Dachshunds on 4/7/25. They will be ready for their new homes on Sunday, 6/1/25. They can be picked up at my home near Laurie, MO in the lake of the Ozarks area after 11 am that day or can be picked up that evening after 7 pm in Excelsior Springs, MO in the Kansas City area.

I expect these puppies to be around 11 lbs. at maturity. Mom, Nugget, is very sweet, calm, and obedient. Dad, Chip, is also very sweet and obedient. Chip is a talker. I say talker because it is not as much barking as squeaking when he is anxious or trying to tell you something. Both Nugget and Chip love attention and are great companions. You are welcome to meet Chip and Nugget at the lake house prior to placing a deposit or at pick up of your puppy.

About Me.
My name is Angie and I am the breeder behind Benji's Babies. Benji was the name of my very first stud when I entered the breeding business. My love for the dachshund breed is what inspired me to begin breeding dachshunds and to share my love for the breed with others. I love to see the result of my efforts in the happy and healthy puppies that I am able to share with the individuals and families that purchase my puppies. I enjoy all of the positive feedback, the updates, and the photos that I get from my customers. I am always available to answer any questions that my customers may have. Why dachshunds? I love that when I sit down, I immediately have dachshunds on my lap showing me love and affection. It always brightens my day. I have had numerous breeds of dogs over the years, but there is NOTHING like the companionship of a dachshund. I also like that dachshunds are low maintenance and require little grooming.
